APC refutes endorsing ex Lawmaker as National Secretary

The attention of the All Progressive Congress APC has been drawn to a fake publication in one of the National Dailies on the decision of the party to announce a former House of Representatives from Katagum Federal Constituency as the new National Secretary of the party.

According to the APC Chairman of all states chairmen forum, Hon Ali Bukar Dalori while speaking with newsmen refuted the publication, describing it as false stories intended only to rubbish the progress of the party at the national level.

He said the ruling party has not yet decide on the credible candidate to replace the former APC secretary, Mai Mala Buni the present Governor of Yobe state.

He described the publication as fictitious and baseless report emanated from desperate candidates just trying to cause dispute with in the party..

Hon Dalori pointed out that there was never a time the party stalwart or executives met and decide on any particular candidate to become the National Secretary of the party since the exit of Mala Buni, talk less on picking any ex Lawmaker to become the next party scribe.

He therefore called on loyal party members and general public to disregard the false publication aimed at promoting disunity among the party members in the name of promoting a particular candidate without waiting for the final decision of the party.

The chairman APC states conference forum assured the party followers to await the decision of the party that is going to be in the best interest of the party and Nigeria as a whole.
