People who pursue inordinate intention amidst national interest, the collective responsibility of all sundry, as such, the individuals will surely suffer setbacks & negative backlashes afterward.

Coalition of civil society organisation on 2nd august 2019, defended the nomination of a former minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama as minister by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The group said the former minister is quilified to be made minister, having served meritoriously in Buhari first term.
Executive Director, Initiative for Leadership and Economic Watch in Nigeria, Agbonkpolor Splendour stated this on first of August 2019, in a statement in Abuja. Splendour noted that attacks on the integrity of the former minister was baseless. 
He described those kicking against his nomination to serve for a second term as “mischief makers.
” Splendour  noted that such calls were inimical to the progress and stability of All Progress Congress in his home state of Enugu. 
He urge a chieftain of the party in the state to retrieve his steps in order to permeate peace and political stability in the State.
” It is sacrosanct at this moment of President Muhammadu Buhari second term of administrative stability, progress and prosperity for all” he said.
He added: ” therefore we use this ample opportunity to call on these mischief makers to order, not to continue in this shameless act of casting spanner in the wheel of progress.
Further attacks on the re-nomination of Onyeama as minister will be seen as affront on the collective interest of the good people of Enugu State.
” We urge Mr. President to ignore such negative calls from distractors calling for the removal of Mr. Onyeama from ministerial list. 
” We further urge Mr. Onyeama to be calm, unmovable, because  he has been chosen by God to work with Mr. President Muhammadu Buhari in his second term in office to make Nigeria better for all.
