Ondo State Governor, Mr Rotimi Akeredolu urges Muslims to pray against insecurity in the Country

Ondo State Governor, Mr Rotimi Akeredolu has felicitated Muslims across the country over the successful celebration of this year’s Sallah.

Governor Akeredolu, in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Segun Ajiboye, on Saturday, urged Muslims to continue praying for the country, particularly as the nation continues to battle insecurity.

The governor saluted the Muslim community in the state for the peaceful practice of their religion.

The statement read in parts, “As the Muslim faithful peacefully celebrate this year’s Sallah, Governor Akeredolu remind them to let moderation be their watchword.

“He also urges them to remember the needy among them by extending the hands of love towards them.

“He asks them to offer prayers for the military men and women and security agencies who are battling to maintain the peace in the country.”
