‘‘The recent political rascality in Edo State has gotten to its crescendo holding to the recent action of Edo State APC extraction who were mobilized and sponsored to Abuja, to protest at the national headquarters of the All Progressive Congress, to call for the sack of the National Chairman, Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole, an action described as inimical to the political and peace stability of the state. The reasons for the call is seen as baseless and lack merit to what the party stands for. Records have it clear that the national chairman has unprecedented political records that surpasses others in the state, unequivocally with no argument to his successes in the highly competitive 2019 elections’’

‘‘Can a child that is born yesterday walk today? the answer is no. The child must go through the normal process of growth before he/she can be able to walk. The overnight seemingly grown political muscles by those handpicked yesterday, who were given opportunities to serve despite all odds against them as at the time of decision, cannot suffice the political upheavals in the state currently’’

‘‘We describe the action of the protesters calling for the sack of the national chairman of APC as shameless, ungrateful, and a show of outright ignorance of the realism that Comrade Adams Oshiomhole as hit the mark in the political arena, with regard to party stability and victories across states, even states that seem impossible to defeat. This has further given credibility to the national chairman on salient reasons to continue to serve the Party meritoriously, not to feel perturbed by the political fiasco happening in Edo State at the moment’’

‘‘Gone are the era where state party structure is pocketed by those who have no regard for party sustainability at the state level, with so much disregard to party members who stood to ensure victory at the last governorship election in the state. The party has been so debased by the ones that sought for the Party’s support in order to hold on to power, its a high level of dishonesty and rudeness to Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole, who has overtime built the party from the cradle to where it is today in the state; strong and formidable. This good work should not get destroyed overnight by inexperienced and misguided politicians, for which, Oshiomhole swore to resist at all fronts to bring back political stability to the party at the state level which gives equal representation to all.

Holding to all standards, Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole is the most successful political leader in Edo State presently and unarguably, with records to attest to his political feats, as such, Oshiomhole should be accorded the needed respect, regard, and support by the Edo People, not to forget in a hurry his political gestures to people that are fighting him; the irony of life. History has it on record that those who have immensely benefited from his political goodwill from 2008 till date are the people now fighting the National Chairman. This is the height of ungratefulness and utter wickedness to the one that has done them good’’

‘‘Those stoking dissonance in Edo State, sponsoring protest against the National Chairman are time wasters, politically suffocated individuals, and as such, the baseless call for sack by the paid protesters to the national headquarters of All Progressive Congress should be disregarded and ignored forthwith because the position of the national chairman remains the wish of the people of the South-South region and whose interest is beyond one state”

‘‘Having painstakingly x-rayed the political performance of Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole in the 2019 general election and subsequent elections with overwhelming victory for the All Progressive Congress as the national chairman of the party, the Comrade deserves commendation rather than condemnation. As such, we hereby pass a vote of confidence on Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole led APC, for his administrative sagacity, dexterity, tenacity, and for his relentlessness in making sure that the party stands strong and tall above the contending parties and forces’’
